We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Hotel Housekeeper to join our team at Northcote Manor Hotel & Spa. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable environment during their stay. This part-time position involves working mornings, 3 to 4 days a week, including weekends, to provide essential housekeeping services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, and replenishing amenities to maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment.
- Ensure that bathrooms are sanitised, stocked with clean towels and toiletries, and in a presentable condition.
- Properly dispose of waste and empty bins as necessary to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Collect used linens and towels, and ensure they are washed, dried, and neatly stored.
- Report any shortages of cleaning supplies or amenities to the supervisor, ensuring an adequate supply is always available.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all areas of the room are cleaned to the highest standard.
- Interact with guests courteously and professionally, responding to their requests and ensuring their comfort during their stay.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, following hotel policies and procedures to guarantee the safety of guests and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and part-time hours.
