St. James Church is a quaint little parish church located in the heart of Arlington Court, North Devon, and is right next to a National Trust landmark. The medieval building is home to the Chichester family and has been since the 14th century. The interior of the church will take you back to the Victorian era, with stained glass windows that commemorate some fascinating moments from throughout history.
St Bueno Church, Culbone
With only 33 seats, St Bueno Church in Culbone is the smallest church in England, located in a quiet combe with a stunning ocean view. The church has characteristics as old as the 11th century and is just 35 feet long.
The only way you can get to this church is on foot, and on your way, you will experience beautiful woodlands and even some fairy-tale hidden tunnels too.
