How do dog friendly hotels work?
We have specific dog-friendly rooms set aside for you and your furry friend. This is to make sure that guests with allergies don’t share the same rooms. We will charge a small £10 per dog, per night fee to let your pet stay at the hotel.
Get in touch to tell us that you’ll be bringing your dog with you, and we can accommodate you in one of our lovely dog-friendly rooms.
When you have your dog at the hotel, we have a few simple house rules:
- You must make sure that your dog is on a lead (or in your arms) whilst in the hotel or its grounds.
- You can leave your dog unattended in your bedroom.
- You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet in the hotel or in the neighbourhood.
- Disturbances and noise must be kept to a minimum.
- As the pet owner and registered guest, you will be responsible for any additional cost for deep-cleaning, repair, and replacement of damaged facilities caused by your pet.
Can you leave a dog unattended in a hotel room?
You Can leave your dog unattended in your hotel rooms and suites.
Some guests choose to leave them in the car during eating times others will leave them in the hotel room, however this is your responsibility. We’re a friendly bunch at Northcote Manor, so get in touch to find out which parts of the hotel you can bring your dog into.
Is there an extra charge for my dog to stay at the hotel?
Because we provide dog water bowls & biscuits, as well as the extra cleaning required for your four-legged friend, we do charge a small fee to cover this. The fee is £10 per dog per night for the duration of your stay.
Are there suitable dog walks close by?
There are lots of fantastic walks close to the hotel that both you and your dog will enjoy! From long walks through beautiful Devonshire woodland to flat paved paths, there’s something for everyone.

Is there anywhere in the hotel dogs can’t go?

Do you offer doggy dining?
We do now offer doggie dining for Dinner only in our conservatory. We aren’t able to offer it for breakfast but you can enjoy your evening meal with your four legged friend.
