You may be wondering how we maintain consistent quality, both in our food and service. Investing in passionate, talented staff is certainly an area of focus. Without our fantastic staff, we wouldn’t be award winning.
Take our Head Chef for example. Without Richie Herkes’ long standing experience and passion for the catering industry, we’d be deprived of the finest local ingredients and seasonal menus. In our opinion, food should always reflect the season.
Where possible, our ingredients are grown on site to aid our commitment to sustainability. This is also a nod to our history. Distant owner, King Henry VIII, would’ve sourced only the finest and freshest ingredients to uphold royal standards.

Another way we foster our restaurant’s reputation is through our dress code.
While we believe that quality is demonstrated through consistency in clothing and uniforms, we also want our staff to feel the best, most comfortable versions of themselves. Therefore, our dress code at Northcote Manor consists of smart casual clothing. We do not, however, tolerate jeans with holes in them or shorts during dinner service.
Attention to detail is key. As long as the small details are taken care of, the quality will reflect the restaurant as a whole.
